Urban Planning

A Strategic Plan is a planning and operative agenda of the Municipal Administration which provides ideas, projects and policies that are to be implemented with timing and modalities which differ based on the priorities and the availability of resources. It is therefore a vision of the territory which is introduced within the municipal and supra-municipal planning  and includes public and social works which allow for a new layout of mobility, create new social realities, and promote environmental considerations and small-scale economic development.

The goal of this Strategic Document is to identify a wide strategic vision able to build a recognizable identity for the territory of Cassago Brianza, focusing on a series of objectives and actions which define the future of Cassago and its growth and transformation into a competitive territory.

At the heart of the “Il Piacere di Abitare” (“the Pleasure of Inhabiting”) Strategic Plan, we find a strategic vision with a “human dimension” of the project, in regards to the creation of new places of sociality, safety and identity.

In particular, the strategic picture starts with the concept of Inhabiting and is composed of 3 different themes:

  1. Sustainable Mobility
  2. Quality, service, vitality
  3. Rediscovering the values of the territory
