Urban Planning

The project involves the rural area of Elci, within the village of Radicondoli, a small Tuscan municipality located about 40 km from Siena.

In accordance with the regulation sheet pertaining to the area, identified within the Structural Plan and City Planning Regulations, the project proposal involves the recovery of 1,970 square meters of SLP with residential destination, which will derive from the demolition and the reconstruction of the volumetric characteristics of the borgo, and the realization of 4,000 sq. m. of residential SLP, in nearby locations as well as in the identified rural area. Furthermore, the recovery of the historical village is aimed at residential destination, with the recovery of the rural heritage in accordance with the context and the environmental characteristics of the area.

The project proposal involves the activation of a variation procedure to the current city planning tool in terms of changes of destination of use, in order to facilitate the recovery of specific areas and buildings, and a revision of woodland restrictions and visual limitations provided by the PIT.
