At its session yesterday, Jan. 31, the Novara City Council noted the approval of the Strategic Industrial Development Plan regarding the new Pernate logistics hub. The document was prepared by Cim Spa and the company Develog 4 Srl. The area, in fact, is part of a plan to strengthen the Freight Intermodal Center, which has grown over the years alongside the ring road, and will be built between the Novara East highway exit and the town of Pernate.

The new "Novara logistics macro-pole," as defined by the council resolution, will be called "Novara Ecologistica"; the area used will be more than 1 million square meters, 247,000 of which will be covered by four warehouses and 32,000 by ponds surrounded by 2,758 plants and 9,727 shrubs.
