THE BLOSSOM AVENUE PARTNERS AT “UN MARE DI SVIZZERA”: DESIGNING THE FUTURE OF EUROPEAN CORRIDORS

The Blossom Avenue Partners took part in the 7th edition of “Un mare di Svizzera”, the international forum held in Lugano, dedicated to the evolving role of infrastructure along the Rhône–Alps–Genoa corridor. The event brought together public institutions, private stakeholders, and urban planners to explore how European logistics infrastructures can become drivers of territorial innovation and regeneration.

During the roundtable titled “Infrastrutture per i territori”, architect Marco Facchinetti, founder of The Blossom Avenue, presented a selection of current projects across the Piedmont region, including Novara, Asti, Casale Monferrato, and Alessandria, emphasizing the importance of aligning local development strategies with European-scale infrastructure planning.

Facchinetti highlighted the need for a systemic approach to infrastructure design, one that integrates logistics with public space, economic opportunity, and ecological responsibility. He stressed that being part of a European corridor is not merely a matter of geography, but a responsibility to shape projects that generate long-term, inclusive value for local communities.

The Blossom Avenue’s contribution to the debate underlined its active role not only in architectural and urban design, but also in shaping the future of interconnected, resilient territories at the heart of Europe’s most strategic infrastructural axes.
